A musical meeting with the Baroque
In October, our high school students listened to a concert by artists from the Silesian Philharmonic, entitled "Masters of the Baroque". The event was held as part of the School Auditions 2021 program. The invited guests performed musical works from the Baroque period. We listened to, among others works by: J. S. Bach, G. F. Händel, A. Vivaldi. The meeting was intertwined with interesting lectures, during which we explored the secrets of composition and got to know the life and work of famous composers. We checked our knowledge in a quiz that took place during the classes. The musical meeting with the Baroque was an interesting complement to musical, historical, and Polish language knowledge.
