A Special Ceremony at Wańkowicz: Commemorative Nails Affixed to the School Banner
On Thursday, April 30th, our High School held a solemn ceremony to commemorate the adoption of the May 3rd Constitution. This year's celebration was unique, as the Melchior Wańkowicz High School banner was honored with commemorative nails donated by the management, parents, students, and teachers.
The official ceremony of affixing the nails to the flagpole was performed by Principal Jolanta Kałuża, Vice-Principal Danuta Kałuża-Freyre, Consul Monika Nizioł, and IB Coordinator Justyna Proksza. Held on the eve of Flag Day, this symbolic ceremony added a profound new dimension to our school's traditions.
We would like to thank everyone involved in organizing the assembly. Special thanks go to Ms. Monika Pawłowska, the school choir, and the color guard for ensuring a dignified setting for this event.
