BioMedTech Silesia 2018
We are proud to announce that students of 2LO (high school) class: Julia Plewniok, Magda Sajdak, and Dominika Depta - as a team, and Izabela Wrzeska from 1DP class individually - were awarded the third prize in the 15th Scientific Conference "BioMedTech Silesia 2018", dedicated to bioengineering and medical biotechnology. The event is organised by Zbigniew Religa Foundation for the Development of Cardiac Surgery. To quote the organisers: "the conference is a unique opportunity to exchange experiences between hobbyists and professionals, students and scientists, who study the technical, biological, and medical aspects of saving human life and health".
The project designed by students of 2LO class was prepared at the Department of Pharmaceutic Science, Silesian University of Medicine, and supervised by Mr Marek Asman, PhD. The supervisor of the project from our school was Mr Artur Szymanek. Izabela's project was supervised by Ms Marta Skwarek.
