Charity Halloween 2017 in Wańkowicz
As every year, against all odds, Wańkowicz celebrated Halloween and, as every year, it was interesting. This time, PTPI KATOWICE STUDENT CHAPTER and Erasmus+ decided to organize Bio Charity Sale with Greek-fashioned food. Money raised during the sale will be taken to Greece by Polish representatives of MIGRANT programme (Erasmus+), to a refugee camp for boys who lost their parents when escaping from countries taken over by war. We offered everything which can be associated with beautiful Greece: wonderful music, delicious dishes prepared by students and this marvellous chaos, so typical for the Greek. Everything went well, and everyone was generous as we were raising money for children whom we want to help, to make the Greek sun shine for them, too. We would like to thank everyone who supported our cause, especially the donors who gave us original, healthy Greek products, thanks to which we could prepare delicious salads with genuine Feta cheese and olive oil from ecologial olives plantations, fabulously velvetyoghurt dessert, baklava, or almond cookies "kurabiedes", baked especially for us in Thessaloniki in Greece. We quenched our thirst with mountain tea which, as they say, is good for everything. Special thanks to:
Souvlaki Bar for Feta, youghurt, and tea
Nikolaos Theodosjadis for genuine olive oil, bio thyme and oregano
Penelopa Theodosjadis, the author of express logistic enterprise who managed to import almond cookies from Greece on time, and the bakery ΔΙΠΥΡΟΝ in Thessaloniki (Greece), which prepared them especially for us
Thanks to all students who cooked the delicious food, the Headmistress who, as always, supported us generously, Ms Kasia Papas for her generosity and dedicated time, and all those who contributed to our success.
Dziękujemy!
