Determination of gravitational acceleration using a mathematical pendulum.
During the last physics lesson, eighth grade students determined the value of gravitational acceleration using self-prepared mathematical pendulums. After receiving the instructions, the students determined the period of oscillation of their pendulum for different lengths of thread, then determined the acceleration due to gravity.
