Have a wonderful journey...
This farewell ceremony always takes place on the last Wednesday of May. Then, after a few (sometimes more, sometimes less) years of learning, young graduates of Wańkowicz say goodbye to the school community. They have just finished their battle with final exams and are going on, perhaps, the longest holidays in their lives. As every year, we said goodbye to the graduates from the Polish high school, as well as the IBO graduates. High school students, supported by Mr Marek Dykier and the high school Coordinator, saw their older friends off. Ms Kasia Wróblewska supervised the musical side of the event.
We reminded them of their achievements and pleasant moments. The Headmistress, Ms Jolanta Kałuża, was deeply moved while delivering the speech. Moments like these always bring reflections. The Coordinators, Ms Justyna Proksza and Mr Janusz Woźniak, summarized the years of high school in their own style, and gave the graduates some tips for their future lives. The ceremony was graced with the school choir's performance, a beautiful presentation, piano concert by Zhang "Ohlsson" Enxu (Liszt's "Hungarian Rhapsody), and amazing masters of ceremony. The graduates received fabulous figurines in various categories (sometimes really funny ones), as well as their tutors and the Headmistress, the Vice-Headmistress, and the Coordinators. Then, the time came for more personal goodbyes. Have a wonderful journey.
