Historical fact-finding trip to Warsaw
In mid-March, students of the history and art history higher level class took part in a two-day trip to Warsaw. It was a unique opportunity to study history and art in the heart of the capital.
The first day started with an educational activity at the Polish History Museum, where participants had the opportunity to learn about key events in the history of our country. We then visited the National Museum, focusing on analysing selected works of art. We ended the day with a visit to the Museum of Modern Art, where we were able to admire contemporary artistic trends.
On the second day, students visited the Polish Parliament, touring the parliament buildings and observing the proceedings. It was an extremely interesting experience, allowing us to better understand the functioning of the Polish political system. At the end of the trip, we strolled through the charming Lazienki Park, enjoying the first signs of spring.
The two-day stay in Warsaw was an intensive lesson in history and art history, which we had the opportunity to experience live. This experience will certainly remain in our memories for a long time!
