"Medical Physics" Workshops
On the 2nd March 2017, as part of our cooperation with Univeristy of Silesia, a group of high school students visited the Institute of Medical Physics to participate in another workshop.
During the "Medical Physics" lessons, conducted by Ms Marta Skwarek, students broaden their knowledge about medical physics. The topic of our last lesson were sounds, both those which we can hear and ultrasounds. All problems are discussed theoretically and illustrated by computer simulations and other kinds of software - both from the point of view of physics and medicine.
