Methodical workshops
On the 7th March 2017, methodical workshops for German teachers from the Silesian province were organized in the assembly hall of Complex of Private Schools. The meeting was organized by Ms Małgorzata Bubik, who teaches in our school and is the chairwoman of Polish Association of German Language Teachers, Department in Katowice.
The meeting was opened by Ms Małgorzata Bubik, MA, who talked about plans for 2017. Representatives of publishers gave interesting lectures. Mr Adam Dominiak, MA, a representative of Hueber publishing company, talked about motivating through emotions and the new offer of the company. The problem of changes in Polish education and effective German teaching in the light of new curricula was discussed by Ms Ewa Kościelniak-Walewska, MA, from New Era publishing company. Effective methods of motivation were discussed by Mr Wiesław Iwaniak, MA, a representative of Pearson publishing company. Moreover, a representative of Lektorklett publishing company, Ms Monika Klimas, MA, presented their offer.
Ms Agata Borek, PhD, from Goethe Institute Examination Centre "Structura" talked about Goethe Zertifikat B2. Finally, a meeting of the members of the Association took place.
