National "Turbolandeskunde" Competition - regional stage
And the next, sixth edition of the National Turbolandeskunde Competition has already become history. This time the questions were related to Switzerland. Traditionally, we have already beaten the record for the number of schools participating in the competition at the Katowice Branch. There were 40 of them and, as usual, we were the largest committee in Poland. Due to such a large number of participants, we divided them into 4 quiz groups. We prepared very interesting workshops for teachers, which were conducted by trainers of the Goethe Institut Delfort program Aleksandra Łyp-Bielecka - Delfort and Małgorzata Kupis - Delfort:

We prepared a whole workshop package for participants of the competition. Each group could participate in a 30-minute workshop:

- "Checking the content of vitamin C in selected food products" -Artur Szymanek - Melchior Wańkowicz Private High School
- "Chemistry in a turbo-pill" - Edyta Burdzik-Niemiec - Melchior Wańkowicz Private High School
- "Magic in Spanish and not only ..." - Claudio Basaez Gutiérrez - Complex of Silesian International Schools
- Team Building - Aleksandra Węglarzy - Complex of Silesian International Schools

2nd place - University High School No 1 in Chorzów
3rd place - Silesian Insurgents High School No 1 with Bilingual Departments in Rybnik
4th place - Father Professor J. Tiszner School Complex No 2 in Żory
