People to People International Conference in Berlin
The chapter’s representatives from Wankowicz along with their guardian set off once more for the People to People International Conference, which this year took place in Berlin. Patrycja Bogunia, Marysia Lubomska ,Olek Linert and the author of these words, reached their destination on 16th September and occupied a comfortable and spacious apartment in the southern part of the German capital city called Mariendorf. For the next 3 days, we were heading off from there towards different parts of Berlin to sightsee, attend workshops, meetings and ceremonies. The conference was participated by over 100 people from all over the world: Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Ukraine , the United Kingdom, South Korea, Taiwan, Pakistan and the USA. Despite the age difference the reciprocal understanding was evidently visible. All the participants cooperated wonderfully and enjoyed themselves. Our students got really close with the representatives of the Berlin, Varna and Roman chapters. The latter will be hosting the Conference next year. The hearts of the youth were also conquered by the older generation of the conference participants, since their energy and enthusiasm were easily spread among everybody.
It was really sad to leave, however we hope for more meetings in such an extraordinary company
