Teacher mobility under the Erasmus+ Project to Lithuania: We must use technology correctly
It's great that we as teachers had such a positive experience over the holidays!
Professional work can be truly inspiring, especially when it opens new horizons. Our teachers' participation in the Erasmus+ program during the first week of the winter break met these criteria. The week spent at the Lithuanian school in the town of Ukmerge (Ukmerge) was certainly a unique experience. Together with a group of teachers from Hassa, Turkey, we had the opportunity to see what classes in various subjects look like, talk about education with the city authorities, visit the Museum of Ethnocosmology, fisheries and other interesting places. Get to know the history of Lithuania in the rebuilt castle of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius and Trakai Castle (the first capital of Lithuania). Taste Lithuanian cuisine, including: cepelin, kibiny, borscht, šakotis, and other delicacies.
It's important to get out of your desk, share ideas and talk about problems that may be similar or completely different. We are very happy with the positive result!
The Lithuanian hosts welcomed us very well and showed us valuable and interesting places.
Lithuania is truly a fascinating country, and its people are hospitable and warm.
We wish everyone such successful journeys and inspiring meetings!
