Vienna - integration and education
In June, first and second grade students of our high school, as well as our future high school students, took part in a trip to Austria and the Czech Republic. At the end of the school year we spent a special time - sightseeing, learning about history and culture, and above all - spending time together.
Over the course of four days, we saw Olomouc, where we admired the town hall with the column of the Holy Trinity, St. Mary's Column and walked through the charming streets around the market square. On the other hand, in Brno we saw e.g. Spilberk Fortress. We also went to the Morawiecki Karst to visit a unique place - the Punkievni cave.
The next point of our program was a drive to Vienna, where we visited the Old Town: Schweden Platz, Griechen Gasse, St. Stephen's Square, Graben Street with the Plague Monument, St. Michael's Square, the City Hall, Maria Teresa Square, and then the Hundertwasser House. We spent lovely moments in the gardens of the Schoenbrunn Palace, as well as on the Kahlenberg hill, where we admired the beautiful panorama of Vienna. The Prater - Viennese amusement park provided us with an amazing experience. During our trip, of course, there was time to taste the local cuisine and buy souvenirs.
The guide of our trip was Mrs. Patrycja Zielonka-Rduch, while Mrs. Edyta Burdzik-Niemiec and Mrs. Dorota Szewczyk-Świerniak provided educational care.
