Visit to the Sejm and Senate
On October 6, 2022, students of the Melchior Wańkowicz Private High School, Wojciech Galiczak and Bartłomiej Nowak, took part in an excursion to the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland. The event was special because it was part of the award for winning the title of finalists in the Provincial Competition of Knowledge about the European Union. During the trip, there was a lecture presented by the professor of the Cracow University of Economics, Dr. Magdalena Małecka-Łyszczek, entitled "Legal conditions of civil society". We were welcomed by Senator Agnieszka Gorgoń-Komor, who brought us closer to working in the parliament. Students could listen to the sessions of the Sejm and Senate and eat a joint lunch in the Sejm restaurant. The trip was a living lesson in democracy and it was deeply remembered by the participants.
