"Vom Fasten zum Fest"
As every year before Easter, we invited students from different Silesian primary schools for observation workshops. This time, the invitation was accepted by 20 schools.
"Vom Fasten zum Fest" is an innovative education project in the field of German language, organized by the Polish Assocaition of German Teachers in Katowice and German Education Society in Opole. The project was initiated by Mrs Małgorzata Bubik, MA. The workshops were conducted by Ms Elżbieta Wydra, MA, a German teacher, a Superteacher, and a sworn translator.
The target group of the workshops are students of 7th and 8th grades of primary schools and students of middle schools, as well as German teachers from Silesian and Opole Voivodeships. It is based on an innovative hospitation method, in which students and teachers are involved. Such form of cooperation creates a friendly environment for broadening knowledge and sharing ideas. Students participated in classes actively, while teachers observed them. Every teacher received a certificate of participation and a lesson script using which a lesson can be concucted even before Easter.
