September is the perfect time to start the new school year with enthusiasm – and our students from the History and Art History Club did so in grand style! They visited Kraków, the capital of Małopolska, to see masterpieces of Polish art and explore places steeped in history with their own eyes.

During this intensive trip, we managed to see some of the most fascinating temporary exhibitions currently on display. At the National Museum, students admired the exceptional works of masters: the melancholic portraits of Olga Boznańska and the atmospheric Polish landscapes painted by Józef Chełmoński. It was a true feast for art lovers and an inspiring lesson in aesthetics.

We didn't limit ourselves to painting alone. Our historical journey also took us to Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius and The Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) – a symbol of Kraków and a place that has been bustling with trade and life for centuries.

This long day, filled with art and culture, was the ideal, practical start to the academic year. At our school, we believe that the best education is the one that extends beyond the classroom walls.
