Biology - extended level classes
During one of our projects, students had the opportunity to learn basic laboratory techniques, such as sterilization of tools and nutrients, sampling and inoculation of microorganisms. All this took place in compliance with the safety rules under the supervision of Mr. Artur.
After inoculating the microorganisms, our students had the opportunity to observe them under microscopes. This allowed them to see what microorganisms look like and how they behave. Observations under the microscope also provided information on various characteristics of microorganisms, such as shape or size.
This project aimed to increase interest in biological sciences and provide students with valuable knowledge about microorganisms and their importance in our world. Students gained practical knowledge and experience working in the laboratory, which can be very helpful for them in the future, especially if they plan a career in the field of biological sciences.
