Creative meeting with Marina Hulia
On Tuesday, February 7th, students of Melchior Wańkowicz Private High School, Private Junior High School "Amicus" and Private Primary School "Szkoła jak Dom" participated in remarkable workshops conducted by the founder of Democratic Schools - Ms Marina Hulia. Ms Hulia fights prejudice connected with refugees and helps those in need, especially children with families living on the railway station in Brest (Belarus).

Marina visited us thanks to Natalia Nowak's efforts, the Headmistress's support and Ms Kasia Papas-Rotko's organization skills, in cooperation with Mr Janusz Woźniak. Meeting Ms Hulia showed us how much joy is brought to us when we help others. Wonderful theatre scenes, an exhibition of works of art prepared by the children taken care of by Marina, an interview with her conducted by high schoolers who participate in Project Migrant as part of the European Union Erasmus + KA2 Programme - everything was so inspiring for all participants, regardless of their age. Also, we supported Marina's actions financially by buying the works of Her Children. The next meeting is scheduled for March - we can't wait already!
