Cryptocurrencies: freedom, opposition, future?
Knowledge about new technologies is the future of the young generation. Cryptocurrencies are one of those topics that arouses great emotions.
An extremely inspiring meeting took place in the auditorium as part of the "Zwolnieni z Teorii" project. Students from grades 1 LO, 2 LO, 3 LO and 0DP1 had the opportunity to participate in a presentation that shed new light on cryptocurrencies and their role in today's world.
During the meeting, we hosted Mr. Kacper Zagała, an assistant at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Economics in Katowice, and Benedykt Kozicki, a student of Computer Science and Econometrics, chairman of the 256 Scientific Club: cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Their presentation entitled "Cryptocurrencies: freedom, opposition, future?" touched upon basic social and economic information related to the cryptocurrency phenomenon.
The issues discussed concerned not only the nature of cryptocurrencies as a means of payment, but also their potential role as a symbol of financial freedom and an alternative instrument to traditional banking systems. There were also discussions about innovative technologies such as NFTs and cryptocurrency wallets, including the popular MUUN, which are changing the way we think about finances and the future of the economy.
We would like to thank all participants and our special guests for enriching our knowledge and inviting us to reflect on how cryptocurrencies can shape our future. We would like to thank the organizers, students of class 2LO, for inviting interesting guests to the lecture. After the final applause and conversations, it was clear that the topic was interesting for a large group of students.
