Distance Teaching. Our Headmistress' Letter.
Dear Parents, Teachers and Students of our School Complex,
Unfortunately, with the fifth powerful wave of coronavirus infections hitting Poland, we all face the challenge of distance learning once again. On January 27, the entire education process in the fifth grade of primary and senior schools, including secondary schools, will be transferred to the Internet space. Out of the entire group of students for whom lessons will be conducted remotely, only this year's high school graduates will be able to take advantage of consultation classes conducted at the School. All recreational activities planned for the coming weeks, trips outside the School and didactic trips will take place on other dates, when it is possible to return to the stationary mode of work and study.
Recently, in order to increase the level of integration of forms of work with the student, the School has gained access to the MS Teams platform, with the use of which now all (except in exceptional situations) remote classes will be conducted. I believe that replacing the previously used Zoom and Google Classroom platforms with a new one, offering more possibilities and integrating the functions of both earlier tools, will result in even higher efficiency of the on-line learning process.
Our Dear Students, I would like to ask you to demonstrate the attitude of responsibility, reliability and honesty in your approach to school duties. In just over two weeks, during the winter break, you will have a nice opportunity to take a break from study and everyday school routine. Now try to "work at full capacity" and use the time of remote classes as well and efficiently as possible! Please be present, active, and involved in your lessons.
I trust that on Monday, February 28, after returning from winter rest, we will be able to meet all healthy and regenerated during joint classes in the building of our school at Witosa 18. I know that we will all be waiting impatiently for this moment.
Wishing all of you: the Parents of Students, Students and our Teachers health, perseverance and positive energy that drives them to action, I express my respect and cordially greet you.
