Let's Change the World Together
From September 26th to 29th, students from the IB program at PLO M. Wańkowicza and students from the private ATENA school in Kyiv participated in an international project called "Let's Change the World Together." This collaboration aimed to develop a social project based on one of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Throughout the entire period of intensive cooperation, students learned project management. Working in teams, they went through all the stages of the project design process, developing their ideas through presentations. All projects aimed to bring about positive changes in society. Ideas covered changes in education, ecology, health, gender equality, combating hunger and poverty, and access to energy and water. Collaboration took the form of competition between teams of students from both schools.
In addition to their intensive work, students also took part in various integrative and sports activities, such as orienteering, fun at a rope park, and an obstacle course. The project concluded with a shared success. All teams fiercely competed for the "Let's Change the World Together" Project Cup, but the project named ‘Her Story’ emerged as the winner.
Thanks to their participation in the project, students developed key 21st-century competencies and forged new friendships. We look forward to the following challenges!
