Meeting with art
In November, our high school hosted a lecture entitled "The theme of death in Polish painting of the 19th and 20th centuries on the example of works from the collection of the Silesian Museum in Katowice". The meeting was hosted by Ms Monika Czernik-Czublun, who is the curator at the Silesian Museum. Our high school students not only listened to an interesting lecture, but also actively participated in group exercises, during which they analyzed and interpreted selected works of art. These subsequent classes in the "Meetings with art" series certainly contributed to the deepening of our students' knowledge in the field of humanities.
