Methodology workshops for German teachers
On September 18th, 2018, methodology workshops took place in Complex of Private Schools in Katowice. Nearly thirty German teachers from Silesian Voivodeship participated. The meeting was organized by Ms Małgorzata Bubik, MA - a teacher from our school and the chairwoman of Polish Association of German Teachers, Department in Katowice.
The workshops were opened by Ms Małgorzata Bubik, who presented plans for the school year 2018/2019. Representatives of publishing houses, Ms Wisława Iwaniak, MA (Pearson), Ms Joanna Olszewska, MA, and Ms Anna Rosół, MA (Lektorklett), gave inspiring and interesting lectures.
Moreover, Ms Barbara Czwartos, PhD from the Regional Teachers' Training Centre "WOM" in Katowice gave a lecture about using movies during foreign language lessons, and Ms Dorota Szewczyk, MA from Teachers' Training Centre in Sosnowiec explained the applications of urban game in teaching foreign languages. To conclude, the meeting of members of Polish Association of German Teachers, Department in Katowice took place. Our special guest was Ms Iwona Hanysek, an adviser in terms of bilingualism.
All the lectures were acclaimed by the audience. We would like to thank all our lecturers! Next workshops are scheduled for March 5th, 2019. We would already like to invite everyone!
