Mobility of the Erasmus+ project KA210 No to bullying - Turkey
From May 29th to June 2nd our teachers: Janusz Woźniak, Patrycja Kostka and Magdalena Lenczowska participated in the Erasmus + KA210 "No to bullying" mobility in Turkey. Our Turkish hosts could not host us in their hometown due to the damage after the last catastrophic earthquake, so we met in the city of Sakarya. Teams from four countries participate in the project: Turkey, Poland, Portugal, and Romania.
Every day we took part in workshops on tools and methods of preventing bullying. Our team prepared a presentation on various types of youth violence and related kahoot quizzes. We also presented a performance in Polish entitled "Mury III" recorded by high school students from Zduńska Wola, which had its premiere during the Empathic Education - Emphatic Poland conference. Our viewers were moved by the unusual emotional message of the play.
After the training, we explored the near and far surroundings of Sakarya. We visited the Ormania nature park - unfortunately, the weather wasn't favorable. It was raining heavily, so we went to the Sapança lake and visited the center of the city of Adapazari, which is the oldest part of Sakarya.
On the last day, after the official end of the project, we visited Istanbul. We saw, among others, the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace and the Hagia Sophia mosque. It was a very fruitful time.
We came back richer with new impressions, experiences, and plans for the next projects.
