Mobility "Stand up for your rights" of the Erasmus+ Project No to bullying
The "Fight for Your Rights" mobility of the Erasmus+ "No to bullying" project took place in November 2022. Its aim was to equip young people and teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to defend human rights and social justice. In addition to the team from the Wańkowicz Private High School in Katowice, teachers and students from Turkey, Romania and Portugal also participated in the program.
The workshops were conducted in our high school and various locations in Silesia, and participants took part in classes on youth activism, human rights, and creating posters and questionnaires examining the status of compliance with students' rights. Moreover, participants had the opportunity to see post-industrial monuments, such as the Carboneum Tower and Queen Louise's Adit in Zabrze. Additionally, they had a fascinating viewing at the Silesian Planetarium, visited the multimedia Silesian Museum and spent time walking around the charming Nikiszowiec.
The main features of this mobility are:
- Empowerment through Education: Participants gained valuable perspectives on youth activism and human rights.
- International Cooperation: Established contacts with participants with different cultural backgrounds.
- Developing Practical Skills: Gain specific skills in effectively defending your rights and the rights of others.
- Community Engagement: Participated in meaningful activities that promote social justice and positive change.
