Mountain Trails and Historic Fortresses: International Baccalaureate Students Explore the Pieniny Mountains!
From September 23rd to 25th, students from our International Baccalaureate programs (preIB and IB) embarked on a three-day integrative and educational trip to the stunning Pieniny Mountains. It was a perfect blend of outdoor learning, teamwork, and active exploration.
Highlights of the trip included:

Exploring History by Lake Czorsztyn: The journey began with a guided tour of Dunajec Castle in Niedzica—a historic Hungarian fortress overlooking the lake. Students then enjoyed a scenic boat cruise across Lake Czorsztyn, followed by a visit to the 14th-century castle ruins in Czorsztyn.

Conquering Trzy Korony: A full-day guided hike led our group to Okrąglica (982 m a.s.l.), the highest peak of the Trzy Korony massif. The panoramic view of the Dunajec River Gorge from the observation deck was truly unforgettable.

Discovering Szczawnica: The trip concluded with a guided walk through the charming spa town of Szczawnica.
It was an inspiring trip filled with great energy, history, and breath-taking views!
