National Biology Contest "Transplant Yourself Health"
On May 27, at the seat of our school and at the Department of Parasitology at the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Medical University of Silesia, the finale of the Third Edition of the National Biology Contest "Transplant Yourself Health" was held. Pursuant to the decision of the Silesian Superintendent of Education (No. of the ordinance OA.OR.110.1.8.2019 of 27 February 2019, item 234), the winners of the competition are entitled to additional points during recruitment to secondary and post-secondary schools.
In the third edition of the competition, 6024 people attended the school stage and 3002 attended the district stage, from which 16 finalists were selected. During the 3 years of the competition, 11,356 students competed together.
During the final gala there were:
Wanda Suchecka, PhD - coordinator for the promotion of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of the Medical University of Silesia
Marek Asman, PhD - research and didactic worker at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Medical University of Silesia
Mirosław Malar, MD - representative of the Polish Association of Epidemiological Nurses
Alicja van der Coghen - spokesperson of the Silesian Medical Chamber
16 people from the following schools got to the finals: Public Primary School No. 2 in Strzelce Opolskie, Primary School in Sierzchów, Public Primary School No. 5 in Wałbrzych, Primary School No. 34 in Łódź, Primary School in Besko, Primary School No. 2 in Karczewie, Public Junior High School in Zdzieszowice, Primary School No. 13 in Tychy, Primary School No. 4 in Katowice, Public Primary School in Świebodzice, Primary School in Trzebnica, Primary School No. 13 in Rzeszów, Primary School No. 5 in Wrocław and Private Primary School AMICUS from Katowice.
The first place in the competition was taken by Zuzanna Tryczyńska from Public Middle School in Zdzieszowice.
The second place went to Klara Ferenc from Primary School No. 13 in Tychy.
Third place was taken by Bartosz Bielawski from Public Primary School in Świebodzice.
