Our students in the finals of a Physics' contest
We are honoured to announce that a group of our high school students: Natalia Nowak, Jakub Łucki, and Wiktor Kobiela entered the finals of the ŚFiStEk contest - the Silesian Festival of Strategic, Statistical, and Economic Thought, organized by the Department of Physics of University of Silesia.
The students were encouraged by Ms Marta Skwarek, the guardian of the group. 37 high school teams participated in the contest. For a few weeks, twice a week, they solved physics problems. Their authors were the scientists of the Department of Physics of University of Silesia. Their level was really high , not only did they test the knowledge, but also the analytical and strategic thinking.
