Summary of the Erasmus+ Happy Schools project
With the end of the Erasmus+ project called "Happy Schools", the time has come for summaries and reflection. This innovative program, which involved three schools: our high school, the high school from Maglie in Italy and the middle school from Ardicli in Turkey, aimed to create a friendly, open, and safe educational environment for students.
During the project, many events and activities were organized to raise awareness of the problem of early school leaving and to promote intercultural dialogue. Information seminars allowed participants to better understand cultural and social differences, which contributed to building bonds between students from different countries.
In addition, the project also carried out preventive activities aimed at counteracting the phenomenon of bullying among peers that students may encounter at school. These programs increased awareness of the problem and equipped participants with tools and strategies for dealing with conflict situations, which in turn contributed to improving the atmosphere at school and increasing students' sense of safety.
The effects of the "Happy School" project are noticeable not only in the school itself, but also in the local community, where promoting tolerance, acceptance and empathy is important for harmonious coexistence. Thanks to the involvement of students, teachers and international partners, this project has become an inspiration for further activities to build a better future through education and international cooperation.
