The letter to Teachers
Dear Teachers of Complex of Private Schools in Katowice,
It's been two weeks since the small, microscopic threat sent us all, Teachers, Administration and Service Workers, Students, and finally the Headmistress home. It is not an easy time for us. Operating in isolation, often on several dozen square meters, devastating news from the media, a sense of uncertainty and fears about what the next week will bring, somehow, humanly speaking, do not suit what we have associated with spring so far.
I strongly appreciate and admire the attitude that the huge, overwhelming majority of you present during this difficult period! After just two or three days of slight chaos, uncertainty and searching for ways to find a place in the new reality, our School - in the field of didactic and educational activities - began to function almost fully! I observe with admiration and joy how you conduct online lessons, how you reliably prepare materials for publication or sending to students, how you provide them with your time, good words, advice and encouragement, how you maintain contact with their parents and guardians, and finally how efficiently and without problems you cooperate as a team. It is with great pleasure that I receive positive signals from parents who express their appreciation for the efficiency with which the School has found itself in a new, unexpected situation and for the dedication, diligence, creativity and innovation of the vast majority of you. I am proud of you!
I hope that soon we will all be able to return to the School; that soon we will all be able to meet on Witosa Street in good health and a great mood, and do what we love and do the best in the world under normal conditions: teach at school. Thank you, Dear Teachers, for your efforts and uplifting, creative attitude, I wish you all this imminent meeting.
Keep up the good work!
Jolanta Kałuża
Your Headmistress
